Bottle Pourer. They are used to control the flow of liquor
into the glass to allow you to have both speed and accuracy
when making cocktails. |

liquor and you will use it in your training to help you
develop good portion control and your own '3-count'. |

Stainless Steel Cocktail
Shaker and Mixing Glass - these two are a set as they are
used together to mix and prepare many cocktails that require
shaking and/or may be served chilled and 'straight-up'. |

bartender you will discover that most of your sales are beer.
You will need to develop the coordination to allow you to open
bottles of beer quickly, and it is best to have your own
opener. |

Cork Screw - wine will also be a
big part of your sales and you will have to open many bottles.
You will need to become familiar with (and good at) using this
type of professional cork screw. As with the bottle opener it
is best to have your own cork screw. |

Measuring Cup - many establishments
require their bartenders to measure the liquor in every drink.
You will need to develop this skill using a measuring cup -
this one has two sides for accurate measurement of two
different portions. |

Muddle - this device is used to
muddle (or crush) fruit used in a cocktail. It is somewhat
uncommon but will be used to make cocktails such as the
Mojito, the Old Fashion and the Mint Julep. |

3 Piece Shaker - this can be used in
place of the Shaker, Mixing Glass and Strainer combination in
some cases. It is smaller but particularly useful when making 'Martini
Style' cocktails and multi-liquor shots. |

Fluted Shot Glass - this style of
shot glass in not found in all establishments but is
particularly useful for creating layered shots. |

Glass Rimmer - this device is very
convenient if you are making several 'Margaritas' or other
drinks with a salted or sugared rim. It is best to be familiar
with it but it is not mandatory for your training. It is very
useful if you intend to set up a bar in your home. |

Ice Scoop - as the name implies it
is used to scoop ice. It is critical for proper sanitation
practices. It is not mandatory for your training but is very
useful if you intend to set up a bar in your home. |

Spill Mat - the Spill Mat will help
to keep your work space clean and to define your pouring
station. It is not mandatory for your training but is very
useful if you intend to set up a bar in your home. |

Straw and Napkin Caddy - this device
is used to help you organize some of the items you will be
using to serve cocktails in a professional bar (napkins,
coasters, different sized straws, picks, etc.) It is not
mandatory for your training but is very useful if you intend
